Most mornings I go for a walk really early, it wakes me up and I like the time to myself. Some mornings are better than others, today's was beautiful due to a really heavy frost, and a large dose of sunshine.
Today because it was frosty with beautiful clear blue skies, we headed off to Slindon in West Sussex. It is known for its pumpkin displays which I shall blog about later.
For my husbands birthday this year I booked him on a photography course at the spectacular West Dean College near Chichester West Sussex.
Apologies for this blog being so late but it's been a busy time. I thought it was still worth posting though.

Should you ever be in Richmond be sure to visit the Wholefoods Market, you will be greeted by the most amazing selection of healthy food, a nut and pulse section, a juice bar which is just what you need to give yourself a boost after touring around London.

Cass Sculpture Park in Goodwood West Sussex is one of the most stunning setting's that I have visited. The owner Mr Wilfred Cass who is in his nineties is a very interesting and clever man, he has had a great life that is recorded in his book called 'Here comes Mr Cass', which can be bought from the foundation.
Here are the last of my photographs of the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, maybe it will entice you to visit over this bank holiday weekend. Enjoy the three days whatever you do. I will be gardening, sewing, eating, sleeping, reading and generally keeping out of the way of the masses and the traffic.
How about this for a very clever use of fountain pen nibs at the Hannah Peschar Sculpture garden.
One of my favourite sculptures rom the Hannah Peschar Sulpture Garden.
Hi, it's been a long time since I blogged, I don't really know why, the time just seems to disappear. Maybe it's the long evenings when you try to get as much done as possible, or you just sit in your garden enjoying the summer.
Last week we had a little trip away to one of our favourite places to stay, Odle Farm in Devon.
The gardens at Lanhydrock house are as stunning as the house itself, they are quite sheltered and seem to thrive in that Cornish almost tropical climate that you find in enclosed garden spaces.
If you go down to Cardinham woods near Bodmin in Cornwall here is what you will find.
Welcome to St Ives where the streets are vertical.
Thank goodness we went to see these bluebells on Good Friday in Wickham Woods near Fareham Hampshire, it would have been a bit soggy today!
